TERMS & CONDITIONS

WARRANTY TERMS & CONDIDTIONS

Save as stated herein, where applicable and in accordance with their terms and conditions, all products sold to consumers in Malta carry the 2-year EU and Maltese legal warranty. Batteries shall, however, be covered by a 1-year warranty.

To be able to avail yourself of these warranties, you will need to provide us with details of your item, including the model number and proof of purchase. You can find this information on our original receipt/invoice. This acts as your guarantee, so please keep it safe. Note that the warranties are on a ‘return-to-base’ basis. You are thus requested to bring all products which are/are suspected to be faulty to our premises for inspection by us, and such at your own cost and expense.

Our warranties provide cover against manufacturing defects through normal use. This means that if a defect becomes apparent during the warranty period, depending on the type of defect, product and coverage, we will attempt to repair your product free of charge, including all parts and, or labour according to the warranty period stipulated. We will claim ownership of all defective components which may be replaced and may use various vendors’ components for the repair of the product as required. If we cannot repair your product, we will replace it with an item of equivalent specifications. Where none of these options are, in our view, available, we may issue a credit note with a maximum value of the purchase price or provide other remedies according to law.

For the avoidance of doubt, our warranties do not cover:

(i)any product that has been incorrectly or inadequately used, stored and, or maintained;

(ii) any product that has suffered unauthorised repairs or modifications;

(iii) any product that is compromised due to normal wear and tear and not as a result of any defect/s;

(iv) any product that has been affected due to external causes outside our control, which shall include accident, fire or burglary;

(v) faults caused by shock or fall, sand, dust, dirt, damp or corrosion, or leaky batteries;

(vi) generally, defects materialising after the date of purchase of the product and which were not in existence before purchase.

It is your responsibility to inspect the products for any damage upon collection or delivery. Unpack and use the products in accordance with our instructions and the manufacturer’s manual. It is your responsibility to consult the manual and ensure compatibility of the product with the desired purpose and other components or products.

We only guarantee the product for its functionality under normal use according to the manufacturer’s manual. In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential loss or damage to any person or property.

This warranty and the purchase it covers are governed by Maltese law, and any dispute arising in connection herewith shall be heard before the Maltese courts.
